1 Corinthians 16:10-12
10 If Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord, just as I am. 11 No one, then, should refuse to accept him. Send him on his way in peace so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers. 12 Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.
We need to be thankful for those who are willing to serve the Lord by serving and sharpening us. Too often we take people who do ministry for granted. Think about how appreciated you feel. Now think about the fact that people who minister seem to get the worst of people most of the time. Tell them thank you. Better yet, show them how much you know they care by caring for them.
Who do you appreciate? Do you tell them? If not, why?
O God, thank you for those who put themselves on the front lines of service for you. Amen.
